House Artist Residency Workshops are designed to allow artists from all disciplines to explore the performativity of their environment and the body in everyday life. The exercises for these workshops are specifically designed to allow participants to break away the boundaries of social convention, paving the way for them begin thinking of their environment in unique ways. Participants are tasked with performing in urban public spaces in order to experience how the line between public and private, the body and its surroundings, gesture and language, body and medium, can be blurred.
