Sarah Mumtaz’s concern was a personally motivated experience, as well
as an intervention within the public environment of a park. She climbed a
hill in the middle of Bagh-e-Jinnah, and constantly repeated a single phrase
- “stop and smell the roses”. Her audio performance revealed the genuine
exhaustion and toll of her bodily experience through the laborious physical
exercise of climbing, moving, stepping, and moving forward against gravity.
