Abeera Saleem gave up control of herself and body during this performance. She provided Abu Huraira - a tea boy at a nearby tuck shop - with ropes, a shovel, and bricks, and instructed him to tie her up as he wished. Huraira buried her feet in the ground, placed bricks around them, and tied her whole body and face tightly to a tree in Bagh-e-Jinnah. She remained completely still and silent as passersby inquired if she was alright. The performance was designed to last until Huraira decided to untie her. This performance was an immersive experience in vulnerability and shifting power dynamics for Saleem, and would go on to inspire future works where she would allow her body to be handeled, tied, and moved around by others.
